EN The challenge: building a lasting, modular identity capable of renewing itself with each edition without losing institutional recognition.
The solution centers on typography as the system's core element. The logo was developed from a sans-serif typographic structure, exploring variations in weight and rhythm as visual language. This approach allows graphic elements to be reorganized each year while maintaining systemic consistency.
The vibrant palette and juxtaposed shapes engage with the Brazilian modernist design tradition, drawing especially from the experimental works of Rogério Duarte and Aloísio Magalhães. The choice of these references is not only aesthetic, it connects to the bicentennial theme by revisiting the foundational moment of modern Brazilian graphic design. Celebrating 200 years of political independence while returning to the visual foundations of our modernity seemed coherent: an institutional identity that thinks of Brazil as both thematic frame and design tradition.
